Professional Associations for E-Learning

Professional associatios are an excellent resource for expanding your contact sphere to include other professionals who work in environments similar to yours.  There are a number of professional organizations specific to E-Learning, which you may find to be a rich source of information, resources, and support.  Descriptions of a few professional organizations that you may find beneficial follow. 

eLearning GuildBased in the U.S., eLearning Guild is a global community dedicating to advancing the practice and design of eLearning, and providing professional development and networking resources for eLearning professionals.  For more information, see elearningguild.com. 

European Institute for E-Learning (EIfEL)EIfEL is a leading European professional association dedicated to professional development for E-Learning professionals throughout the European community.  For more information, see eife-l.org. 

eLearning NetworkeLearning Network is a UK association for eLearning professionals engaged in all aspects of eLearning design, development, and delivery.  eLearning network emphasizes professional develop opportunities for members, and presents a number of conferences each year.  For more information, see elearningnetwork.org. 

The eLearning Alliance The eLearning Alliance is a professional association for the E-Learning community within Scotland.  For more information, see elearningalliance.org.
