The 2008 eLearning Africa’s International Conference on ICT for Development, Education, and Training is scheduled for May 28 – 30, and will be held in Accra, Ghana, under the patronage of the Ghanaian Ministry of Education, Science, and Sports.  This event stands to become one of the premier international educational and networking events for e-learning professionals from around the world.   

In only its second year, the 2007 event (held in May in Nairobi) attracted more than 1400 delegates from around the world.  Approximately 72% of the delegates were from Africa, and the others traveled to Kenya from more than 88 countries, representing every continent.  Attendees included high-level professionals and decision makers from the education, business, and government sectors.  There were also 43 exhibitors from eight different countries.

Make your plans to attend the 2008 event early, particularly if you are interested in vendor space.  Exhibitor spaces for the 2007 conference were sold out several months before the event.
